INDRODUCTION
Highfold cottage is a mid terrace, stone build, lakeland cottage in a
rural setting. We have tried to provide has much information as possible

PRE ARRIVAL
We have a basic web site.
Bookings/ enquires can be made via e-mail or phone.
The nearest bus stop is 2 miles away.
The nearest train station is 9 miles away.
The nearest shop is 2 miles away.
ARRIVAL & CAR PARKING
There is no car parking with the cottage.
There is parking on the roadside 60meters from the cottage.
There is a sight hill on a tarmac road to the cottage.
You will go through a metal gate 82cms wide and up 2 stone steps 6cms
& 20cms high to enter the front door 83cms wide.
To enter the back door, go to the rear of the cottages, there are no steps,
but still a sight incline.
GENERAL
Décor is light walls, skirting & doors with darker carpeting.
Carpeting throughout is short pile carpet.
Fire alarms are fitted both upstairs & down.
LOUNGE
Light coloured three-piece suite on a dark carpet. Non-feather.
T.V., teletext with remote control, also DVD, CD player & radio.
No room to manoeuvre a wheel chair.
Good lighting.
HALL
Small area119cms by 183cms, with all doors leading off to lounge, kitchen,
bathroom & stairs. Kitchen door 70cms wide, bathroom door 68cms wide
& lounge door 74cms wide.
KITCHEN
Very narrow door70cms wide from hall into kitchen.
Round pedestal table & 4 chairs with seat cushions on them.
Work tops 92cms height
Sink height 92cms with cupboards underneath.
Cooker oven door opens to the side.
The grill door is drop down.
The flooring is lino.
Fridge/freezer, with the fridge section at the top.
Well-lit kitchen, light over cooker.
Contrast between floor, cupboard & walls.
BATHROOM
Bathroom is downstairs & only small.
Door 68cms wide.
Bath with electric shower over, no handrail.
Free bathroom space is 44cms x 78cms (free from doors & furniture)
Toilet seat height 43cms.

Very steep & vertical with handrail on one side.

All beds have non-feather duvets & pillows.
Bed linen in poly/cotton & towels, cotton

5ft bed.
The bed is movable if more room is needed to one side.
